Bachata / LEVEL 1
Bachata / Level 1 is for Beginners who already know their 5 to 10 basic steps.
The goal is to learn basic footwork, partnering skills, principles of timing, and eventually variations of shines and turn patterns. No need to bring a partner, as we rotate frequently to ensure even partnering.
This 4-week course is for students who want to learn and master the fundamentals of dancing Bachata. Consistency is key to ensure you are confident on the dance floor! Drop-ins are permitted if space allows, however, patterns will become more complex later in the month, so it is best to keep coming each week.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring a partner?
No need to bring a partner, as we rotate frequently to ensure even partnering.
Do I need special shoes?
Beginners can start with street shoes or dress shoes that have ankle-straps (support) with medium-height heels or any flat-bottom shoes or regular dancing shoes. Avoid wearing shoes that have thick rubber soles such as sneakers, clogs, boots or flip-flops.
I can't make it to my class, can I switch days?
Bachata is only offered once per week at this time.
Do you offer online classes?
Not at this time.
Can I use my purchased package next cycle?
All sales are non-refundable. You may start Bachata at any point in the cycle, but the package must be used within 4 weeks of first use. If you purchased a 8 Class Combo or 12 Class Pkg, keep in mind the 4 weeks will be the same 4 weeks for all classes you attend using this package. It cannot be used or extended for future workshops/cycles. It cannot be shared or transferred to another person.
Can I pay cash at the door?
All students must pay in advance. It is essential that you arrive 15 minutes before class starts, to register and pay. Cash or credit payments will be accepted no later than 10 minutes prior to the first class you wish to attend.
Todo los estudiantes tienen que pagar por adelantado. Es muy importante y se urge que todos que quieran pagar en efectivo en la puerta, llegan por lo menos 15 minutos antes de que empiece la clase, para poder registrarse y pagar. Pagos en efectivo o con tarjeta en la puerta solo se aceptará 10 minutos antes de que empiece la clase.
