Instructor

Inés Maldonado

Inés Maldonado was born in New York City and was raised with strong cultural routes, from the Caribbean Islands. She is the Daughter of a Dominican mother, and Puerto Rican father. This strong culture background has brought her a passion to dance and has gifted her with a sense of freedom in dance. She has been dancing at family reunions since the age of 4 years old.

She was introduced to Salsa ON2 by her instructor Jesus Nieves in October, 2013. During this time she also had her hands full raising two handsome young boys and a commitment to weight loss as part of managing her Type 1 Diabetes, since the age of 15.

In 2016, she became a student of Lehigh Valley Salsa Social at Banana Factory, Bethlehem, PA and was given an opportunity to run Lehigh Valley Salsa Social as an owner. So she gave it a shot and has progressed to take the #1 roll as a Latin Dance Instructor in the Lehigh Valley.

She is now the director, owner, instructor and DJ of Lehigh Valley Salsa Social, a Latin dance studio and event organizer in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

She is passionate about teaching and sharing the essence of Latin dance with students of all levels, from beginners to Intermediate. She specializes in Salsa, Bachata and Merengue, and also offers performance opportunities for those who want to showcase their skills. She has been making nights memorable with Latin social dancing for over 10 years, playing the best Salsa classics, Bachata, Merengue and Cumbia classics. She takes great pride in making sure her students feel welcomed, have fun, and walk out the door with a smile. She is dedicated to following all safety procedures and holding her staff accountable for the true vision of dance: patience, love and respect!
